Why Provide The Inspection Academy Subscription Payment Plan?
Starting a new career is exciting, but paying for the necessary education upfront can be stressful, difficult, or even impossible. We know many aspiring home inspectors are facing the same challenges. At The Inspection Academy, we hear three primary reasons why people do not, or cannot enroll:
- Potential students want to sign up but can’t pay the full tuition up front.
- People do not want to use a credit cards that charge high interest.
- Aspiring inspectors apply for our financing but do not qualify for one reason or another.

If you feel like you are struggling with similar issues, we designed The Inspection Academy Subscriptions with you in mind. After all, we believe cost shouldn’t stand in the way of your success. Our goal is to make home inspector education affordable, flexible, and accessible.
How Do The Subscription Plans Work?
Instead of paying for your enrollment all up front, The Inspection Academy Subscriptions allow you to pay smaller monthly payments. Additional benefits of our subscription pricing include:
- No interest
- No late fees
- A variety of subscription options to fit your budget
Unlike traditional financing options, TIA does not charge interest on subscriptions. Instead, we apply a modest fee to cover the monthly transaction costs. This allows us to keep payments low while still providing top-tier education.
To start a subscription, students simply pick the package that works best for them. After a small down payment and their first month’s payment, students gain full access to their chosen courses.
Why Are Down Payments Necessary?
Down payments are necessary to help cover the costs of:
- Onboarding students to our Learning Management System
- Distributing Virtual textbooks
- Third-party proctored testing
- Payment processing fees
How Does The Inspection Academy Structure Subscription Payments?
Students set up automatic payments through auto-draft, ensuring a smooth experience for both sides. This system benefits everyone:
- Students avoid the stress of losing course access.
- TIA maintains the subscription model without chasing down payments.
Key Terms of the Agreement:
- Students must use a credit card, debit card, Amazon Pay, or bank draft for automatic payments.
- The first payment includes the down payment and the first monthly installment.
- Monthly payments process on the same date each cycle.
This structure ensures payments remain simple and predictable throughout the subscription.
What Happens If I Miss a Payment?
At TIA, we support students—not penalize them. That’s why we never charge late fees. However, missing a payment comes with consequences:
- Course access locks until students pay overdue balances in full.
- Once paid, access restores immediately.
- TIA retains course progress for 90 days, allowing time to catch up.
- After 90 days, students that are delinquent will lose all course progress.
Are There Other Requirements to Start an Inspection Academy Subscription?
Before enrolling in a subscription plan, students must schedule an online meeting with TIA. This meeting serves three important purposes:
1. Ensuring Transparency
TIA walks students through every option and detail of the subscription plans, including 12, 18, and 24-month terms. Each plan has distinct features, and this meeting ensures students understand their choices.
2. Recording for Protection
Every meeting is recorded, creating a verbal contract that protects both parties. Before signing, students review the agreement, ensuring full clarity on the terms.
3. Building Trust
An online meeting introduces both sides. When money exchanges hands, seeing who you’re working with adds peace of mind. Connecting face-to-face builds understanding and confidence.
